It is a common practice to measure P concentration in outlet oil at Washing Separator, as a tracer to determine phospholipid mass concentration in the outlet stream, which strictly talking it is dependent on MW of phospholipids. Considering atomic weight (AW) of Phosphorous (P) is 31, then we can calculate what is the value of P concentration we can expect in each stream. |
